URGENT Notice about Covid-19 by 22 March 2020

Dear Valued Customers,

Urgent Notice by 22 March 2020

Pursuant to Document No. 2595/BGTVT-VT of March 21, 2020 of the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam would like to inform as follows:

1. Temporary suspension of entry for all foreigners, effective from 00:00 March 22, 2020. This temporary suspension is not applied to foreigners who entry for diplomatic, official duty and special cases (foreign guests who attend, serve important diplomatic activities; experts, business managers, highly skilled workers ...), provided that they should strictly follow compulsory regulations on health declaration and shall be quarantined at accommodation.

2. Temporary suspension of entry for overseas Vietnameses who have visa exemption and their relatives, effective from 00:00 March 22, 2020.

3. In case of transporting passengers who are Vietnamese citizens returning home, there is prerequisite that Vietnamese Diplomatic Representative  agency in the country from where Vietnamese citizens taking flight back to Viet Nam shall be consulted in advance. This requirement is effective from 00:00 March 23, 2020.

Urgent Notice by 17 March 2020!

ACCORDING TO VIETNAM GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT, PASSENGERS WHO ARE ASEAN CITIZENS OR OTHER COUNTRIES OR HAVE BEEN IN THE ASEAN COUNTRIES WITHIN 14 DAYS BEFORE THEIR PLANNED ARRIVAL IN VIETNAM, SHALL BE CENTRALLY ISOLATED COMPULSORILY FOR 14 DAYS (FOR MEDICAL PURPOSE) FROM THE DATE OF ENTRY.
THIS INFORMATION EFFECTIVE FROM 18 MAR - HA NOI TIME UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

 

Notice by 15 March 2020:

To prevent the possible spread of Covid-19, the Cambodian government has announced an entry ban of foreigners from Italy, Germany, Spain, France, and the United States for a period of 30 days. The ban takes effect from Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

In response to COVID-19, the Vietnamese Government has announced immediate immigration measures which restrict entry to travelers, including overseas Vietnamese, who have traveled to or transited through the 26 Schengen countries, Northern Ireland or the UK in past 14 days. In addition, passengers flying into Vietnam will be required to complete a medical declaration form and to wear masks in public spaces, including airports. Please make sure you have a mask with you for your flight as these will not be provided by Cambodia Angkor Air.
